Welcome to COULTERPARTS.COM.AU, this site summarises the different types of coulter assemblies that are available. Manutec has been manufacturing agricultural parts for over 20 years and we carry spare parts for every system that we sell. Where possible we use commonly available parts so that spares such as bearings and seals are able to be locally purchased at inexpensive pricing. Manutec’s philosophy is to provide the right balance between cost, performance, strength and maintenance, we strive to ensure that every customer is our best advertisement. Every customer that deals with Manutec is given their own individual account so that all customer history is available to assist with ensuring that the correct spare parts are supplied first time, we carry large numbers of all parts so we are rarely if ever out of stock. We believe that our service and our pricing on assemblies and spare parts is the best in Australia.
For many years Manutec has specialised in Press Wheel systems and with the advent of increase use of press wheels and other direct drill and disc seeding equipment and in particular the popularity of parallelograms our customers have an increased need for coulter systems. Ten years ago Manutec began the journey of research and development into coulter systems with a view to becoming the leader in coulter design and build. Last years release of our new Trash Master range of Heavy Duty Coulters saw us doubling the number of coulter systems that we have available. We are also developing a range of Heavy Duty Hydraulic Coulters that can be used in conjunction with fixed bar hydraulic tynes. Manutec is also testing new trash reduction wheel assemblies for broadacre farming. These assemblies will enable those farmers who find it difficult to cut through the trash because of the volume to move the trash away from the line of the tyne. Manutec has also started to develop a range of coulter discs that are specifically designed to work in certain circumstances. In 2013 Manutec released the new X-Wave disc designed for maximum acceleration and cutting power.
MANUTEC Coulters come in both twin and single models. The twin models are set up to the desired spacing width. MANUTEC Coulters can be fitted to most machines. Fitting coulters however can be tricky and often a number of different mounting options need to be used for fitting to one machine. Generally the most common method of mounting is on a toolbar positioned 300mm in front of the machine. Coulters can also be fitted onto the front bar and also on the internal bars. Machines with fixed height frames that require coulters, need a hydraulic lift coulter to be fitted. Once you have had the chance to read through all of the information, if you are still not sure then give us a call so that we can help to answer any questions that you still may have. In addition to choosing which type of coulter assembly is best for your seeding machine you will also need to decide which disc size, shape and profile is best suited to your farming operations. In the COULTER DISCS tab above there is a link to a specific page that discusses range of coulter discs available, there is also a pdf available in the downloads section.
